Wire Drawn

Cylinder brushes made with this method of construction usually have a metallic core. Each tuft is hand sewn into the core. The core can be refilled many times as the fibers wear out. Wire drawn Cylinder brushes are often split in two halves. This allows the brush to be mounted on the shaft without removing the shaft from the bearings.
