Brooms

Baker's flour is much finer than average dust and floor dirt.  Therefore a baker's broom must have much softer bristle tips to pick up and move the flour with the minimum amount of effort.  Natural boar hair is the preferred material.  It is thick at the base to provide sturdiness and tapers to a very fine tip to pick up the flour on a single pass.
